Description
xThe Zengtumy Fingerprint Door Lock gives interior doors three ways in: fingerprint, keypad code and one of two mechanical keys. It suits bedrooms, home offices, small offices, apartments and rooms in shared spaces where several people need access and handing out keys gets messy.
Fingerprint and code
The lock stores up to 100 fingerprints and recognizes an enrolled finger in about 0.3 second, so it is as quick as turning a key. Enrol family members, roommates or staff individually, and remove one person without changing anything for everyone else. The keypad covers guests or temporary workers you would rather give a code than a fingerprint slot. The two mechanical keys are the fallback if all else fails.
Installation
Installation is drill-free. The lock is made for 1.18 inch swing doors, opening left or right, and video tutorials walk you through the setup. Because it needs no new holes or wiring, it is a reasonable choice for renters or anyone who wants to restore the original hardware later.
Auto lock
Once the door closes, the auto lock secures it again after a short delay. You don't have to remember to lock up when your hands are full or you are in a hurry.
Good to know: check your door against the 1.18 inch specification before ordering. Enrol each fingerprint more than once, at slightly different angles, for more reliable reads.
