TOPENS HLR01 HomeLink Receiver — Universal Gate Opener Accessory

The TOPENS HLR01 is a receiver that lets your car's built-in HomeLink buttons open a gate or garage door. Wire it into the opener, pair it with the HomeLink button in your vehicle, and the button on the visor or mirror replaces the remote on your keychain. Signals are coded to protect your access from unintended use.

Compatibility

It works with all TOPENS gate openers and many third-party openers that accept a Normal Open Dry Contact signal. Power comes either from the gate opener's control board or from an external 12–24VDC source. It is designed for gate and garage door openers only and does not support other door access systems.

Two operators, several vehicles

The receiver connects to up to two gate operators through PORT 1 and PORT 2, and multiple vehicles can be programmed. If you run two gates or a gate and a garage, use remote A for PORT 1 and remote B for PORT 2.

Programming in brief

• Hold the vehicle's HomeLink button for about 20 seconds until the status light shows it is ready.
• Hold the included HLR01 remote 2–5 inches from the HomeLink button.
• Press the remote's button while keeping the HomeLink button held until the light confirms success.

After pairing, each press of the HomeLink button steps the gate through open, stop, close, stop, open.

Tip: program with the vehicle parked within range of the gate and the engine running, and keep the remote somewhere safe afterwards for pairing a new vehicle later.
