SEAL-ONCE Marine Ready Mix - 2 Gal Wood Sealer & Stain for Docks & Decks (Clear)

SEAL-ONCE Marine Ready Mix is a clear, water-based penetrating sealer for wood that lives near or over water. This 2-gallon pail is formulated for docks, piers and decks on rivers, lakes and oceans, where wood faces saltwater spray, constant moisture and full sun.

How it protects

Instead of sitting on top as a hard shell, the coating penetrates below the surface and coats the wood fibres, forming a flexible, breathable barrier. That flexibility is what matters outdoors: wood swells and shrinks with every change in weather, and rigid films crack and peel as it moves. A breathable finish also lets moisture inside the wood escape rather than trapping it. UV-stable chemistry helps the wood resist sun fade and keep its natural colour.

It is a one-step product, acting as sealer, stain and finish together, and the clear version lets the natural grain show.

Where to use it

• Docks, piers and decks near water
• Outdoor furniture exposed to spray and moisture
• Thermally modified wood
• Retaining walls and other wood structures in humid outdoor areas

Around water and pets

The formula is ultra-low VOC with low odour, and Seal-Once designs it to be non-hazardous to aquatic life and safe for pets, plants and people once fully cured. That matters when the surface you are coating sits directly above a lake or river and runoff ends up in the water.

It dries quickly, and brushes and tools clean up with soap and water, with no solvents needed. When the finish needs refreshing, clean the surface with soap and water before recoating, rather than using harsh cleaners.
