Meross Smart Water Sensor Alarm 3 Pack – HomeKit & SmartThings Leak Detector, IP67, 100m Range

A slow drip under a sink or a weeping water heater can do serious damage before anyone notices. The Meross Smart Water Sensor Alarm kit is three leak sensors plus a Meross hub, set up to catch water early and tell you about it wherever you are.

How it alerts you

When the probes on a sensor detect water, three things happen at once: the sensor sounds a local alarm, its indicator light flashes, and the Meross app pushes a notification to your phone. The probes trigger at a water depth of around 0.5 mm, so a thin film on the floor is enough. That early warning is the whole point: finding a leak at a puddle rather than a soaked subfloor.

• 3 sensors and 1 Meross hub included
• Detection threshold around 0.5 mm
• IP67 sensor bodies, sealed against dust and immersion
• Wireless range up to 100 metres between sensor and hub
• One hub supports up to 16 sensors

Where to put them

The usual suspects are next to the water heater, under the kitchen sink, behind the washing machine, beside the sump pump and near a dishwasher. The 100-metre range is enough to reach a basement or garage from a hub upstairs in most multi-storey homes.

The sensors work with Apple HomeKit (through the hub as a bridge) and SmartThings, alongside the Meross app. Automations let a leak trigger another Meross device, for example a smart plug that cuts power to a pump. The app also keeps a history of events you can export, which helps you spot a recurring leak and plan maintenance.
