Description
xOverview
The IWISS iCrimp AP-11 is a high-leverage crimping tool designed to simplify power terminal work. It supports three dedicated jaws to crimp 15A, 30A, and 45A quick-disconnect power connectors, covering wire sizes from 10 AWG up to 20 AWG. The result is a solid, reliable termination with less guesswork on each session.
- Three precision jaws for 15A (20-16 AWG), 30A (14-12 AWG), and 45A (10 AWG).
- Built-in contact positioner to hold terminals during crimping.
- High-leverage design reduces effort for fast, consistent crimps.
Crafted for performance, the AP-11 favors a smooth, controlled action. You’ll feel a precise click as each crimp settles, with a clean seating of the terminal that minimizes rework and promotes confidence in your connections.
Secure, repeatable crimps
The integrated contact positioner locks the terminal in place while you crimp, and a dependable ratchet mechanism delivers repeatable crimps every time. If you need to pause mid-crimp, use the ratchet release knob to safely disengage without damage.
High-current readiness
Designed to support higher loads, the crimp quality is engineered to minimize contact resistance at elevated currents. While results vary with application, this capability helps power connectors handle surges more reliably.
Practical applications
Ideal for quick-disconnect power connectors often used in portable power setups and rugged electronics. This tool is a practical addition for anyone building or maintaining power systems in busy environments.
- VHF/UHF radios and other two-way devices
- Automotive electrical systems and accessories
- Sound equipment, stage gear, and portable electronics
- Portable power stations, robotics projects, and DIY power builds
