If the connected tool motor draws more than about 30 W (approximately 0.25 A at 120 V or 0.25 A at 60 Hz, corresponding to roughly 30 W at 120 V and 60 W at 220 V), the vacuum on port B automatically delays for 1 second before turning on. This careful timing helps prevent unnecessary strain or circuit overload when you start the tool and vacuum at the same moment.
After you finish, the unit delays vacuum shutoff by about 7 seconds to assist inlet cleaning and ensure dust doesn’t linger in the line. This small delay can contribute to a more consistent airflow and a cleaner intake, all without requiring extra steps from you.
