Yodel 169031 AC Power Adapter Kit for Moen MotionSense Faucets

The Yodel 169031 kit lets a Moen MotionSense touchless faucet run on household power instead of batteries. It plugs into the faucet's control box under the sink and replaces the battery pack on compatible models. You stop changing batteries, and the sensor responds consistently instead of slowing down as the batteries run low.

Compatible models

The kit replaces the battery pack on Moen MotionSense faucets including 7594E, 7185E, 7565E and S72308E. Check your model number against this list and your Moen manual before you order.

In the kit

• AC adapter that plugs into the MotionSense control box
• Power splitter
• Hook and loop fastener
• Mounting screw

Battery backup option

The power splitter connects the AC adapter and a battery pack to the faucet at the same time. Day to day, the faucet runs on wall power. If the power goes out, the battery pack keeps the touchless function working. This is useful if you rely on the faucet hands-free while cooking.

Installing

Connect the adapter to the control box, add the splitter if you want backup, and plug into the outlet. Then secure the components with the hook and loop fastener and the mounting screw so the cables stay off the cabinet floor and away from anything stored under the sink. You keep your existing faucet and control box.

Good to know: you will need an electrical outlet inside or near the sink cabinet. Keep the adapter and control box dry, away from the drain trap and supply lines.
