YEKEPRO 8-Piece Tub Drain & Pipe Nipple Extractor Set | 1.5-Inch Tub Drain Removal Kit with Storage Case

The YEKEPRO 8-Piece Tub Drain & Pipe Nipple Extractor Set is a plumbing rescue kit for the fittings that won't come out the normal way: a tub drain seized in place, a shower arm snapped off in the wall, or a pipe nipple rusted into a fitting. It covers the common household sizes in one case.

In the set

• Five pipe nipple extractors, 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch
• One 1/2 inch shower arm extractor
• One 1.5 inch tub drain extractor
• One 1 inch 6-point socket
• Solid storage case

How they grip

Each extractor has a helical knurl, a spiral pattern of ridges. As you turn counter-clockwise inside a broken or rusted fitting, the spiral bites deeper, so the harder you turn, the firmer it holds and the less it slips. That lets you apply torque to the fitting itself instead of crushing it with pliers and risking damage to the pipe behind the wall.

Turn the extractors with common wrenches or pliers; a 1 inch 6-point socket is also included. Chamfered tips start easily inside a fitting, and each tool is engraved with its size so you can pick the right one at a glance.

All the tools are hardened steel, built to withstand high torque and heavy use, and they go back into the case after the job.

Good to know: shut off the water before removing a shower arm or supply nipple. On a stubborn tub drain, penetrating oil and a little patience before applying full torque reduce the chance of cracking an old tub shoe.
