Yardlock Gate Lock XLB – Keyless Fence Lock with 2-Way Access for Wood or Vinyl Gates

The Yardlock Gate Lock XLB is a keyless, mechanical gate lock and latch for wood or vinyl gates. You open it with a personal 2-way code that works from either side of the gate, so there are no keys to hide under a rock and no batteries or electronics to fail in the cold or rain.

It mounts on gates that swing into the yard or out of it. The code dials are XL sized for easy reading and turning, and a black lock box cover keeps the mechanism protected from weather and prying hands.

Construction

The lock box is die-cast, the latch and mounting hardware are stainless steel, and the whole unit is waterproof and rust resistant. It measures about 3 inches wide and 5 inches tall.

The die-cast housing and stainless hardware are what let it sit outdoors through rain, sun and temperature swings year after year without seizing up.

Who it suits

A code lock solves a few common problems: kids coming home from school, a dog walker or pool service that needs access, or neighbours checking on the house, all without handing out keys. Change the code and the old one stops working.

Installation

All mounting hardware is included, along with a step-by-step installation guide and videos. Installation uses common tools and works on either side of the gate, whichever way it swings.

Tip: before drilling, hold the latch and catch in place with the gate closed to check alignment. Gate posts shift over time, so leave a little play rather than fitting it tight.
