Yamalube ACC-MRNPA-IT-8D 08D Dark Bluish Gray – Factory‑Matched Touch-Up Spray Paint | Yamaha Motor

Yamalube ACC-MRNPA-IT-8D is a factory-matched touch-up spray paint from Yamaha Motor in colour 08D Dark Bluish Gray. It is an enamel in a 12 fl oz aerosol, intended for touching up chips and scratches or applying a complete overcoat on Yamaha bodywork finished in this colour.

Confirm your colour code

Yamaha colours are identified by code, and 08D is specific. Before buying, confirm that your machine's original colour is 08D Dark Bluish Gray. Colour chips and swatches viewed on screens can differ from the actual paint, so the code, not the picture, is the reliable match.

Where it is used

• Small chips and scratches on fairings, panels and guards
• Refreshing weathered or faded panels and trim
• Touching up after repairs that expose metal or plastic

The enamel is formulated to stand up to weather, moisture and road grime once cured.

Getting a good result

Preparation decides how well a touch-up blends. Clean the area thoroughly to remove wax, grease and road film, then let it dry and remove any loose material. Shake the can well and test-spray on a hidden area to check colour and adhesion before touching visible bodywork.

Apply light, even coats from a comfortable distance rather than one heavy coat, which leads to runs. Let each coat dry before the next. Finish with a light final coat for a smooth surface. For small chips, spraying into the cap and dabbing paint on with a fine brush often gives a neater result than spraying directly.

Results depend on the surface and your technique, and on how the original paint has aged, since older paint may have faded from its factory shade.
