Wright Products Heavy Duty Pneumatic Door Closer with EZ-Hold – Adjustable Speed for Out-Swing Doors (White)

Overview

The Wright Products V1020 Heavy Duty Pneumatic Door Closer with EZ-Hold delivers reliable, controlled closure for out-swinging storm and screen doors. Its Tap-N-Go feature lets you set an open position with a quick press before you step through, and a light tap can release to close. Available in white or black finishes, this closer blends with a wide range of door styles while delivering steady performance across daily cycles.

What makes it stand out

• EZ-HOLD Open Function: A simple tap locks your door open at the desired angle, giving you hands-free access when carrying items or unloading groceries.
• Heavy Duty Performance: Designed to handle heavier storm and security doors with durable, dependable operation. Overall length is 12-3/4 inches when unextended, with a 11-1/4 inch tube and a 1-1/2 inch diameter for robust daily use.
• Adjustable Speed Control: A thumbscrew lets you fine-tune the closing speed to match door weight and traffic, without any tools.
• Smooth Pneumatic Closing: The air-cushioned action minimizes slams, delivering quiet, confident closure every time.

This closer works as a single unit for lighter to mid-weight doors or can be paired with another standard-duty closer at the top or bottom for heavier full-view doors. It ships with all necessary mounting hardware and ships ready for reliable, long-term use.

Real-life use cases

• Walk in with groceries and use EZ-HOLD to keep the door open while you organize packages or unlock the house.
• Let pets or kids pass through first, then release the door for a smooth, quiet close.
• Install in busy entryways where predictable, gentle closing reduces wear on doors and frames.
