Description
xOverview
The Westinghouse Dual Range Voltage Detector is a compact, battery-powered tester built for quick voltage checks in both low and high voltage environments. Its pocketable size, bright indicators, and integrated lighting make it a practical companion for wiring projects, panel work, outlets, and outdoor setups.
Two voltage ranges for versatile testing
- Dual Range Detection: 12-100V AC and 100-1000V AC for broad compatibility with residential, commercial, and industrial tasks.
- Audible and Visual Alerts: Red LED plus audible signal clearly communicates live voltage even in dim conditions.
- Integrated Lighting: Built-in flashlight and worklight free your hands while testing in dark spaces.
Rugged design for real-world conditions
Designed for demanding environments, the detector carries an IP67 dust and water protection rating and a CAT IV 1000V safety rating. It’s built to endure the bumps of daily use, with a 6.5 ft (2 m) drop resistance to help withstand accidental slips on the job site.
- Drop protection helps maintain uptime between tests.
- Safety ratings support testing in higher-energy settings with confidence.
Smart power and user-friendly features
A five-minute auto power-off conserves battery life when the device is idle, and a convenient pocket clip allows quick access during transitions between tasks.
Reliability you can count on
Certified to UL 61010-1, CSA C22.2, IEC 61010-2-030, and UL/CSA 61010-2-030 standards, the detector is backed by a 2-year Westinghouse warranty and around-the-clock customer service for ongoing support.
