Waterlox Universal Tung Oil Sealer (UTOS) is a high solids base coat sealer crafted with Tung Oil. When paired with H2OLOX, ORIGINAL, MARINE and URETHANE finishes, your wood floors, cabinets, countertops, furniture, and other woodworking projects receive a durable, rich, and distinctive finish that is easy to maintain. The formula emphasizes a low odor profile and easy cleanup, while still delivering notable protection for daily use.

What UTOS does for your wood projects

• Base coat that works with compatible finishes to build a waterproof barrier and protective film that stands up to everyday use and foot traffic.
• Do not use alone; a topcoat is required to fully waterproof the surface.
• About 90 percent of the resin comes from renewable resources; VOC compliant across all 50 states.

Application notes and environment

• Allow to dry overnight before applying finish coats; poor ventilation, high humidity, or cool temperatures may extend dry times.
• Interior or exterior surfaces are possible; no mold or mildewcides are included by default, but an additive can be used for exterior projects.
• Use on a wide range of interior surfaces including floors, windows, doors, cabinetry, woodwork, tables, furniture, bar tops, picture frames, and other woodworking projects.
