Description
xOverview
Discover a high‑efficiency fluoride and arsenic filtration option designed for Berkey gravity systems. The Virego PF-2 replacement aligns with your water‑purification goals, delivering robust performance without altering your setup.
What it filters and how it benefits water quality
- High‑efficiency filtration: Replacement for PF‑2 reduces fluoride and arsenic, absorbs odor, color, residual chlorine, and heavy metals, and lowers sediments for better taste.
- Filtration media and absorption: The white fluoride filter uses carbonate apatite mineral material, delivering effective absorption of residual chlorine and fluoride.
- Certification and protection: NSF/ANSI 42 certified, designed as a PF‑2 replacement with Berkey compatibility for reliable performance.
Compatibility and installation
Designed as a PF‑2 replacement for Berkey systems, it is compatible with Big, Travel, Royal, Imperial, Crown, and Light gravity filtration models, offering comparable purification capacity to the original filters.
Maintenance and lifecycle
- Durable life span: For best results, replace every 1,000 gallons based on water conditions. Note that TDS levels do not fully indicate water quality and these filters do not reduce TDS values.
- Support and assurance: Virego offers risk‑free shopping with responsive help; most issues are resolved within 12 hours, with refunds or replacements available if needed.
Pack of 2 provides a convenient solution for ongoing maintenance, helping you plan replacements in advance and keep your Berkey system running smoothly.
