Veise VE019 Fingerprint Smart Lever Lock – App Control, Keyless Entry, IP55 Matte Black

The Veise VE019 is a fingerprint smart lever lock in matte black with seven ways in: fingerprint, the Veise app, user authorization, IC card, password, code sharing and a backup key. It is aimed at households, rentals and shared spaces where different people need different kinds of access.

Access options in practice

Fingerprint unlock takes 0.2 second, so family members simply touch and go. Up to 100 customized codes can be set in the app as permanent or recurring, useful for a cleaner who comes every Tuesday or a guest code that ends when their stay does. One authorized card can open all the Veise locks you own or manage, handy for a landlord with several units.

Built for exterior doors

• ANSI Grade 3 durability
• IP55 weather rating, meaning protection from dust and water jets
• Operating temperature from -35 F to 160 F
• Four AA batteries, lasting up to 16 months
• Emergency power port so a dead battery does not lock you out

Remote access

Adding the Veise G1 Gateway enables remote unlocking, access logs showing who unlocked the door and when, and voice control through Alexa or Google.

Fit

Installation is DIY on most US left or right handed doors that are 1 3/8 to 2 inches thick. Measure your door thickness before ordering.

Tip: enrol the same finger twice, or two different fingers, for each person. It improves recognition when hands are cold, wet or dirty, which happens on an exterior door in winter.
