Description
xTOPOARC's 10-piece oscillating saw blade set covers the plunge cuts and flush trims most renovation jobs call for: undercutting door jambs for new flooring, notching trim, cutting openings in subfloor or drywall, and trimming PVC pipe. The blades use Japanese-style teeth, an aggressive tooth pattern that cuts quickly in wood, and handle PVC and soft metal as well.
What's in the set
- Three blades at 1.73 inches
- Three blades at 1.26 inches
- Four extra-long blades at 1.26 inches, for corners, frames and confined areas
- Three adapters
The extra-long blades reach a plunge depth of up to 2-11/16 inches, deep enough to cut through a 2x stud or work into a deep frame without repositioning the tool. Narrower blades are more precise for detail work; wider ones track straighter on long cuts.
Will they fit your tool?
The three included adapters fit 95% of oscillating tools on the market, according to TOPOARC, including Bosch, Fein, Milwaukee and Ridgid. Check the adapter model number against your tool before starting.
Tips for cleaner cuts
Start plunge cuts slowly and let the teeth establish a groove before pushing in. Choose the shortest blade that reaches the depth you need to reduce flex, and keep the blade moving in metal to avoid overheating the teeth. Wear eye protection and follow your tool's safety guidelines; oscillating blades throw a lot of fine dust.
From home decoration and woodworking to metal trimming and automotive work, the set covers most everyday cuts.
