Description
xThe SparkPod Round Rain Shower Head pairs a rainfall-style head with an 11-inch arm extension, so the spray falls from further out from the wall instead of hugging the tile. That extra reach puts the water over the centre of the shower, where you are actually standing, and lets taller people get under it more easily.
The finish is a vintage oil-rubbed bronze, a warm dark tone that suits traditional bathrooms and works alongside matte black or bronze fixtures in a more modern space.
Adjusting the spray
Two adjustments set where the water lands. The long extension arm sets the distance from the wall, and a rotating elbow tilts the direction of the head. Between them you can aim the high-pressure rainfall spray at the middle of a tub, point it away from a glass door, or pull it back to keep the wall behind you dry.
Installation
No tools are needed and SparkPod puts setup at under a minute in most cases: unscrew the old head, wrap the threads with the included plumber's tape, and screw on the arm and head by hand.
In the box: the round rain shower head, the 11-inch extension arm with its rotating elbow, plumber's tape and a water filter.
Tip: wrap the tape clockwise as you look at the end of the pipe, so tightening the arm smooths it down rather than unravelling it. Check the connection for drips the first time you run the water.
