Description
xThe SHIKITEK Bidet Attachment slips between your toilet bowl and seat and adds a water wash to any standard toilet. It is under 0.24 inches thick, so the seat sits almost exactly where it did before, and the black finish keeps it discreet.
Controls
Two nozzle modes cover a posterior wash and a feminine wash. A dial sets the water pressure. Start gently and turn it up gradually until it suits you. The nozzle is self-cleaning, which keeps upkeep to a minimum.
Installation
Everything you need comes in the box, and no plumbing changes are required:
- Bidet attachment
- Stainless steel braided hose
- T-adapter
- Positioning plates
- Step-by-step instructions
Shut off the water at the toilet's supply valve and flush to empty the tank. Fit the T-adapter between the valve and the tank fill line. Lift off the seat, set the bidet in place with the positioning plates and refit the seat. Then connect the braided hose and turn the water back on. Most people finish in minutes without tools beyond what is in the kit.
Build
The inlet valves are brass, which resists corrosion better than plastic fittings in a spot that is always wet. The braided stainless hose is reinforced. The slim profile avoids the bulky side hardware some bidet seats have, so the toilet still looks like a toilet.
In a busy shared bathroom it can also cut down on toilet paper waste.
Good to know: check that there is a supply valve at the toilet with room for the T-adapter before you start.
