Description
xCompact propane detection for RVs and mobile living
Propane remains a cornerstone for cooking, heating, and refrigeration on the road. The Safe T Alert 20 Series Mini LP Gas Alarm blends a compact surface-mount footprint with a sensitive gas detector, designed to fit neatly into RV interiors while offering proactive monitoring.
Why the Safe T Alert 20 Series stands out
Built for rugged RV environments, this alarm performs across a wide temperature range and in demanding settings. It detects propane and methane and signals when gas levels approach a threshold, giving you a heads-up to ventilate when needed. The Alarm Mute button enables safe ventilation during checks, with a rapid-recovery sensor that reactivates if the air clears or gas persists.
- Detection thresholds and response: alarm activates at less than 25% LEL for propane or methane, providing early warning.
- Smart recovery: rapid recovery sensor reactivates quickly if gas levels subside or ventilation occurs.
- Low-power, battery-free operation: runs on 12V DC at about 75 mA, reducing maintenance needs on the road.
- Quiet, space-saving footprint: 3.5 inches wide, 2.5 inches high, and 1.25 inches deep; mounting bracket included.
- Rugged temperature range: designed to perform from -40°F to +158°F, ideal for varied climates.
- RV-ready installation: perfect for Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Truck Campers, and Folding Campers.
- Easy setup: compact enclosure and simple mounting keep installation straightforward in tight spaces.
- No battery dependence: 12V DC power delivers dependable protection without changing batteries.
- Peace of mind in transit: consistent propane monitoring supports safe living and cooking on the road.
Installation and usage tips
Mount the alarm in a central location away from direct heat or drafts. Connect to a 12V DC supply using the included mounting bracket for a clean, low-profile installation. Use the Alarm Mute button during venting to minimize interruptions while you check appliances or lines.
RV-ready and climate-tested
The 20 Series is built for harsh environments, ensuring reliable operation across a broad temperature range and in mobile living settings where space is at a premium.
