Plumber's Toilet Lift & Carry Tool – One-Hand Move, Patented | Pick Up Stix

Pick Up Stix's Plumber's Toilet Lift & Carry Tool attaches a lifting handle to a toilet. You can then lift, carry and set the fixture with one hand while the other guides it onto the flange bolts. Anyone who has bear-hugged a toilet in a narrow bathroom, bowl water and all, will see the point right away.

How it works

The tool hooks onto the toilet and gives you a solid handle. A spring-loaded mechanism provides a smooth, controlled lift, so you can lower the base precisely over the bolts without dropping it, scraping the floor or crushing the wax ring off-centre. It rates up to 200 lbs of lifting capacity, and your hands stay out of the bowl and away from the base.

• Adds a lifting handle to most toilets
• One-handed lifting, positioning and carrying
• Spring-loaded for controlled lifts
• Lifting capacity up to 200 lbs
• Patented, with multiple USA and international patents

Where it pays off

The tool is most useful in tight bathrooms where there is no room to straddle the toilet. It helps you line up the horn over the bolts on the first try, lift a toilet out for flooring or renovation work, and carry it to another room without getting your hands dirty.

Plumbers who set toilets regularly will save their backs. Homeowners doing a one-time swap get a cleaner, more controlled job.

Check first: this tool does not work with rimless toilets. If your toilet has an open, rimless bowl, it won't attach.
