MiLESEEY S50 Green-Beam Laser Distance Measure – 400ft, P2P, IP54, 2.4 in IPS Display

The MiLESEEY S50 is a laser distance measure with a green beam, which the manufacturer rates as 4x brighter than a standard laser. Green is easier for the eye to pick out than red, so the dot stays visible at long range and in daylight, where red lasers often disappear. It reads up to 400 ft (120 m) with ±1/16 in accuracy.

Measuring modes

Beyond straight distance, it calculates area and volume for flooring, paint and HVAC estimates. P2P (point-to-point) mode measures the distance between two points from where you stand, handy for the width of a window across the room or the height between two marks on a wall. It offers 4 reference points and 8 units, and a side laser helps with alignment.

Display and data

The 2.4 in IPS display is backlit, so it reads in bright sun or a dim basement. The meter holds up to 30 records on the device. Pair it with the Smart Life app and readings can be placed on floor plans, exported, and backed up to the cloud to share with the rest of a crew.

Build and power

The housing is rugged engineering plastic rated IP54, meaning protection against dust and splashing water. Power comes from AA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries that charge over USB-C.

• Storage case
• Lanyard
• AA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries
• USB-C charging cable
• User manual

Tip: check which reference point is active (front, back or one of the others) before measuring; a reading taken from the wrong edge is off by the length of the tool.
