Description
xOverview
The Lawrence Embassy Series LH534 is a medium-duty, surface-mounted automatic door closer designed for homes, garages, and light commercial openings. Crafted from cast aluminum with a steel arm and high-tensile springs, it delivers durable performance with a powder-coated finish that resists the wear of daily use and exposure to the elements.
Hands-free, quiet closure
Designed for hands-free operation, the LH534 guides the door to a smooth latch, preserving a clean entry and exit flow. The closing action is quiet and controlled, reducing abrupt slams in busy entryways and keeping movement unobtrusive in living spaces and workplaces alike.
Reliability you can rely on
ANSI/BHMA A156.4 tested and certified as a Grade 2 closer, this unit is built for medium-duty applications and can handle up to 100 openings per day. Expect consistent, dependable performance over years of daily use.
Preset power with room to fine-tune
The spring ships factory-set as a #4 closer and includes standard back-check. You’ll still have the option to adjust closing and latching speeds using the built-in valves to suit your door and traffic patterns.
Easy installation for busy spaces
Step-by-step, self-paced 3D installation instructions via the free BILT app help you assemble quickly. The surface-mount design, plus tri-pack options, supports high-traffic areas for doors up to 125 pounds with a minimum width of 36 inches.
