Description
xOverview
Experience enhanced home safety with the Kidde 30CUAR-V Hardwired Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector. Designed for modern living spaces, this 5-inch unit blends a sleek look with two essential sensors, delivering fast, clear alerts when danger is detected. It works in living rooms, hallways, kitchens, and bedrooms, providing reliable warnings without clutter.
Two‑in‑One Detection and Clear Alerts
The detector combines smoke and carbon monoxide sensing in a single, cost‑effective device. In an emergency, a crisp voice alert announces the hazard, helping you respond quickly. The trio of LEDs (green, amber, red) shows status at a glance, while a loud 85‑decibel alarm ensures the warning is heard even in busy spaces.
Power, Reliability, and Standards
Powered by 120V AC with two AA alkaline backup batteries, it keeps monitoring during outages. Self‑testing components help maintain readiness, and the unit meets the latest UL standards and FCC requirements for safety and reliability.
Interconnectivity for Whole‑Home Protection
Interconnect capability means when one alarm sounds, others in the network follow suit, providing coordinated warnings across the home and helping everyone respond together.
Design, Installation, and Maintenance
The 5‑inch design fits a wide range of ceilings and rooms, making it ideal for common living areas. The twist‑and‑click mounting bracket supports quick installation, and ongoing maintenance is simple: test the alarm weekly and replace the batteries every six months or when you hear a low‑battery chirp.
