Description
xTwo-in-One Protection for Every Level
The Kidde 900-CUAR-V alarm comes as a 2-pack that combines smoke and carbon monoxide detection in a single device. It runs on 120V AC wiring and includes two AA batteries for backup, helping maintain coverage during power outages.
Clear Alerts You Can Act On
When smoke or CO is detected, an 85-decibel alarm sounds and the unit uses voice prompts to identify the hazard. It announces Fire for smoke events and Warning Carbon Monoxide for CO exposure, supporting quick, informed responses even if you aren’t looking directly at the unit.
- Photoelectric sensing targets smoldering fires with visible particles.
- Electrochemical sensors detect carbon monoxide for timely awareness.
- Voice alerts label the hazard type to guide your actions.
Whole-Home Coverage
Interconnectable with other Kidde alarms means when one alarm sounds, all interconnected units will sound, expanding detection across rooms and levels for broader awareness.
- Green LED indicates normal operation; amber signals a fault or disconnect; red shows an active alarm.
- Smart-Hush silences nuisance alarms for about eight minutes.
- 24/7 self-testing helps monitor operability, while a 10-year UL-listed warranty backs long-term use.
Install, Use, and Maintain
Easy installation is supported by an included mounting bracket, with four orientation options. The detector combines 120V AC power with two AA batteries for backup, and is UL listed for reliable protection.
Placement Tips
Install detectors on every level, including near bedrooms, to improve early detection. A 2-pack provides flexible placement for multi-room coverage and peace of mind.
