Drill America DWD29J-CO-PC 29-Piece M35 Cobalt Drill Bit Set in Round Case | 1/16"–1/2" x 64ths | DWDCO Series

Overview

The Drill America DWD29J-CO-PC 29-piece M35 cobalt drill bit set is crafted for demanding metalwork. Built to Aerospace Standard 907, this kit blends professional-grade precision with durable construction to help you tackle tough materials with confidence.

Why choose M35 cobalt for tough tasks

M35 cobalt offers superior heat resistance and red hardness compared with standard high-speed steel, enabling drilling speeds up to 30% faster without sacrificing performance. The 135-degree split-point is self-centering, delivering clean starts and reducing wandering on challenging metals.

What’s inside and how it’s organized

The set covers 29 sizes from 1/16" to 1/2" in 1/64" increments, giving you broad coverage for most projects. All bits live in a durable round plastic case that is rust-proof, waterproof, and shatter-proof, making organization simple whether you’re in the shop or on the job site.

• 29 jobber-length cobalt bits designed for hard materials
• Gold oxide finish provides lubrication and wear resistance
• Self-centering 135-degree split point minimizes drift and clogging
• Meets ANSI specifications for reliable, professional-grade performance

Real‑world usage and benefits

This kit is well suited for drilling stainless steel, Inconel, titanium, and other demanding alloys. Expect cleaner starts, reduced tool chatter, and a more efficient workflow when switching between sizes with the comprehensive 1/64" step range.

Designed for professionals who value portability, the compact case protects sharp edges during transport and keeps your bits organized for quick selection on the go.

Notes on quality and expectations

While not a guarantee, the combination of cobalt alloy, precision tips, and Aerospace Standard 907 alignment aims to deliver consistent results across a range of metals and thicknesses, supporting your overall drilling workflow.
