The strop spans 320 mm in length and 60 mm in width, with a generous working area of 206 mm by 56 mm. Its double-sided design features a smooth side and a rough side, giving you flexibility to adjust texture and polish to your preference. The sizable surface supports steady strokes and consistent pressure, making routine stropping more comfortable during longer sessions.

Polishing Compounds and Leather Care

Included with the kit is a softening balm and four polishing compounds, each weighing about 7 g. The balm softens and conditions the leather using a blend of lanolin and beeswax. The compounds cover a useful grit range to support progressive edge refinement: Red 2000 (medium), White 5000 (fine), Green 8000 (very-fine), Black 12000 (ultra-fine). With proper application, these materials help you move from a sharp edge toward a polished, even finish.

How to Use for Best Results
