Description
xOverview
Introducing the AQUACREST 9601 water filter, now marketed as AQU-WF55, a replacement cartridge designed for Moen 9601 ChoiceFlo and related models. It fits Moen Chateau, Sip, and AquaSuite faucets and is compatible with Moen parts such as F87400, F7400, F87200, 77200, CAF87254, and S5500 series. The model number transitioned from AQU-9601 to AQU-WF55 during an upgrade, and this unit remains dedicated to cold water valve connections. This filter emphasizes practical filtration for everyday use rather than claims beyond its design.
Key filtration benefits
- High efficiency filtration powered by a premium coconut carbon block, tested against NSF/ANSI 42 to reduce chlorine and improve taste and odor.
- Additional reductions encompassing heavy metals, sediments, and rust particles for a cleaner drinking water experience.
- Safe materials with a food-grade housing to minimize potential leaching and to support safe daily use.
- Stable flow that maintains a reliable stream of filtered water without obvious pressure drops.
Longevity and maintenance
- Long-lasting service life with a recommended replacement every 6 months or 750 gallons, whichever comes first, depending on water quality.
- Designed for use with the cold water valve only; note that this filter does not reduce total dissolved solids (TDS).
Compatibility and installation
This filter is designed for Moen Chateau, Sip, and AquaSuite faucets and is compatible with Moen parts including F87400, F7400, F87200, 77200, CAF87254, and S5500 series. It is not sourced by or sponsored by Moen. Installation is intended for standard cold water line connections with typical ease of replacement.
Why choose AQU-WF55
Consider this replacement to support everyday hydration, coffee and tea preparation, and cooking with filtered water.
