Description
xOverview: retrofit-ready electrical boxes for modern spaces
Discover a versatile 10-pack of single-gang outlet boxes designed for retrofit and old-work installations. Each unit delivers 14 cubic inches of space within a compact footprint (approximately 4.25 x 2.72 x 2.24 inches). This configuration helps you add new outlets to existing walls with a clean, professional look, making it easier to upgrade electrical setups without major wall alterations.
What you get
- Ten individual 1-gang boxes with built-in mounting ears and a secure cable clamp for tidy, dependable wiring.
- Designed to accommodate common wiring gauges (7/14, 6/12, 5/10 AWG) with standard screw spacing for outlets.
- Flame-retardant PVC construction keeps the boxes lightweight, rust-proof, and non-conductive for peace of mind.
- One-piece injection-molded design minimizes deformation and helps maintain a slim profile behind cover plates.
Renovation-ready benefits
Old-work boxes reduce wall damage and visible wiring when retrofitting outlets in existing rooms. Built-in fixing ears speed mounting, and the cable clamp keeps wires secure so installations feel sturdy from the moment a plate is installed.
Perfect for residential upgrades and commercial updates, this 10-pack supports DIY renovations and quick remodeling projects. Use them to extend electrical capability in living rooms, kitchens, offices, or workshops while preserving the room’s decor and flow.
Material, safety, and longevity
Crafted from flame-retardant PVC, the boxes are light yet durable. The non-conductive, rust-resistant construction adds a layer of everyday safety, and the integrated molding resists deformation for long-term performance in varied environments.
Practical use cases
Whether you’re upgrading an older home or outfitting a commercial space, these boxes help solve common decoration-related challenges by providing a reliable foundation for outlets without extensive wall modification.
