xOverview
Upgrade or restore your Andersen awning window with the #7191-32 Sash Lock & Keeper, finished in Stone. This left-hand lock is designed for interior viewing and pairs with its keeper to support consistent engagement for windows produced from 1974 to 1995. The set matches the look of classic hardware while aiming for dependable operation when the window is closed.
Design and Finish
The Stone finish offers a timeless, neutral look that complements a wide range of interiors. The lock and keeper are sized to fit standard left-hand sashes on Andersen awning windows from the stated era, helping preserve the window’s authentic appearance during replacement or renovation.
Key Benefits and Fit
- Left-hand orientation tailored for interior operation on awning windows
- Simple screwdriver installation for quick replacement
- Helps secure the sash on Andersen casement windows, supporting a consistent seal
- Stone finish complements both vintage and contemporary interiors
How it Works
Note that awning windows require both a left-side and a right-side sash lock. This item is the left-side lock as viewed from inside, intended to work with its matching keeper for proper alignment during operation.
Compatibility and Real-life Use
Designed for Andersen windows produced between 1974 and 1995. Whether you are restoring a heritage unit or replacing worn hardware, this lock set offers a period-accurate replacement that maintains the window’s original aesthetic while delivering reliable engagement during daily use.
What’s Included and Installation Tips
- One sash lock and keeper set
- Installation requires only a screwdriver
Having a spare lock on hand can minimize downtime during a restoration project. The left-hand design ensures you select the correct side for interior operation without guesswork.
