The MODUN D Gas Detector is designed for homes, kitchens, garages, RVs, and other spaces where a combustible gas leak could occur. It targets common fuels such as natural gas, LPG (propane), methane, and other flammable gases. Note: it does not detect carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide, so it complements other safety devices rather than replacing them.

In normal standby, the LED display remains quiet; when a leak is detected, the device shows the current reading and triggers an audible alarm. The alarm intensifies at higher gas concentrations, providing a clear signal to take action.

How to test and install

To verify sensitivity, follow the test method described in the user instructions. Warm-up takes about 3 minutes; during this time, the gas test may not trigger. After warm-up, a detected leak will trigger the alarm and display readouts.

When installing, avoid areas with heavy dust, oil smoke, or steam that can affect the sensor. Choose a location based on the actual room layout, airflow, and typical sources of gas risk. Proper placement helps you notice leaks early and respond promptly.
