Built for durability, it uses an all-metal construction and a large 1/2" keyed chuck to handle bigger bits, hole saws, and spade bits with ease. The dual ball bearing design keeps the chuck turning smoothly, while the extruded guide head, paired with brass bushings, minimizes play and helps you stay on target through every hole.

Angle versatility comes standard. With an infinite 0° to 60° range, you can drill straight or at precise angles without lugging a heavy setup to a workshop table. The wide base features V-grooves to center round stock and keep it steady, and the included centering pins and alignment disk give you multiple options to lock onto your mark. A built-in lock on the guide head is handy when you change bits or set your depth, so you stay in control at every step.

Its independent depth stop, supported by its own guide bar, lets you drill to the exact same depth again and again, with springs that balance and support the bit to reduce chatter. You also have the option to remove the springs for greater depth when needed. The large rubber-coated handle adds confident control, and the base can be fitted with optional non-slip pads to protect delicate workpieces and prevent movement during ambitious drilling tasks.
