With a 1/6 horsepower PSC motor and epoxy-coated die-cast aluminum housing, it blends durability with solid performance for everyday water handling tasks.

Key to its versatility is the piggy-back diaphragm switch that enables automatic operation. The switch triggers the pump when water rises to 2–3 inches and shuts it off as the level drops to 0.5–1.5 inches. For hard-wired control or manual pumping, you can bypass the switch by unplugging the pump from the back of the switch and plugging it directly into the outlet. This flexibility makes it suitable for a range of situations—from quick emergency drainings to routine water transfers.

Designed for submersible use, the pump can handle water transfer, recirculation, or hydroponics in residential, commercial, or light industrial settings. It delivers up to 1500 gallons per hour, allowing you to move water quickly while remaining energy-conscious thanks to its efficient PSC motor and protected wiring.

Two practical features stand out in real-world use. First, a removable screen helps you tailor the clearance you need: water can be drained down to 1/8 inch with the screen in place or 1/16 inch without the screen. Second, a 3/4-inch garden hose adapter is included, and the 1-inch FNPT discharge provides flexible connection options for various setups.

Note that this model is not designed to filter out sewage, mud, or soil; for those tasks, consider a dedicated effluent or trash pump.
