The iVAC Pro Tool Plus TP-NA is a compact sensor that clamps around the power cord of your tool to detect when the tool is powered on. In Auto mode, it can transmit a wireless instruction to the iVAC Pro Switch to energize the dust collector and then turn it off when the tool stops, helping maintain a cleaner workspace without manual switching. The unit runs from 5V DC and can be powered by a UL FCC approved USB adaptor or a compatible iVAC Pro System unit. The communication range between the Tool Plus and the Switch reaches up to 40 feet, making it suitable for typical workshop layouts. Designed for reliable operation within 0 to 30 C ambient temperatures, it carries regulatory approvals that support safe use in both home and professional settings.

How it works

Clamped to the tool cord, the device monitors the magnetic field generated by the tool during use. When power is detected, it can trigger the connected dust collection system through the wireless link to the iVAC Pro Switch. When you turn the tool off, the device signals the Switch to power down the dust collector. This sequence happens automatically and without you needing to reach for a switch.
