Silicone feathers and versatility

Central to the GP5 are the silicone feathers. They press gently along the leading edge, adapting to variations in thickness without marring the surface. The feathers dampen vibration for a steadier feel as you push pieces forward, and they are replaceable when wear becomes noticeable. The unit excels with flat stock as well as oddly shaped pieces, and it works in harmony with fences and resaw guides. The base also doubles as a square to help you align the fence quickly and accurately.

Fast, easy setup

Setup centers on a Pivoting Miter Cam that lives in the miter slot. Place the GuidePRO with the feather in front of the blade, apply light to moderate pressure, and move the wood forward toward within a quarter inch of the blade. Lock the lever to secure the position and keep your hands free to guide the stock through the cut. The torque from the cam holds the GuidePRO in place so you can maintain a controlled feed without fighting the tool.
