Installation notes and compatibility

Installation is straightforward for standard plumbing. Putty is not required in most cases. If putty is used, apply a small amount only to the bottom of the white gasket (Part 4) and avoid applying putty on the drain body (Part 3) to minimize chemical interactions. This drain assembly is not compatible with garbage disposal units.
