Power and installation considerations

The 5 m strip runs on DC12V with a total typical power of 30 to 120 W depending on color mix. A DC12V 10 A, 120 W supply is recommended for full brightness. The product is designed for indoor dry locations when used with the base PCB and protective sleeve options. For higher protection in damp spaces, consider the IP65 or IP67 sleeve variants as appropriate. The strip is designed to be touched safely and is not recommended to run at maximum brightness for long periods in mixed white.
