The expanded-metal setting keeps a steady arc on mesh materials for cleaner, uninterrupted cuts, while the rust-clean mode removes coatings without grinding, saving time and reducing cleanup. Gouging helps prep for repairs by removing old welds and preparing bevels. A clear reminder to replace the nozzle when gouging ensures you stay prepared for tough tasks.

The machine uses a non-high-frequency blowback pilot arc, which minimizes electromagnetic interference and helps protect electronics in home garages or small shops. It offers up to 60 amps on 220V for smooth cuts through steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, with practical cutting ranges of 12–16 mm at 110V and 20–28 mm at 220V. Note that an external air compressor is required for operation.

Upgraded torch and smart air management

The IPT60 torch is designed for strong arc start and reliable performance on rough, painted, rusty, or dirty surfaces. Its non-contact pilot arc reduces energy use and electrode wear, contributing to smoother cuts and longer consumable life. You’ll find extra nozzles included for both 110V and 220V setups, so you can get cutting right away after setup. A digital air pressure system continuously monitors incoming air and displays real-time readings on the upgraded LED panel. If pressure is too low or too high, the display signals error codes to help you adjust and maintain consistent cuts.

Practical design features

Key components include a quick 1/4" NPT connector with a metal-cased air filter for ready-to-use performance out of the box. Built-in protections guard against overload, overheating, and overcurrent, with clear error codes and an IGBT low-voltage warning. The unit supports PA (Pilot Arc) and PT (Postflow) modes, plus 2T/4T operation to reduce hand fatigue during long cuts.
