- The Aqara Hub is required for the sensor to function and is sold separately.
- Hubs from third parties are not officially supported; full functionality relies on Aqara hardware and software.
- Maintain a sturdy connection by placing the sensor within range of the hub and ensuring the hub and router are on the same LAN.
- For best adhesion, mount on flat surfaces and note the allowed gap between door and sensor up to 0.86 inch.
- Hands-free control is available through Apple HomeKit and Alexa once paired with the Aqara Hub.
